Delivery Information

Delivery

Our safe delivery service is Monday to Friday during the hours 9am to 6pm delivering to your kerbside entrance and is only available to UK mainland addresses, additional charges may apply for Scottish Highlands, Northern Island, Republic of Ireland, Isle of White, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

It is you responsibility to inform us of any access problems or weight restrictions that may affect our delivery. This must be advised in the comments box in the delivery section when checking out. Please note that failiure to do this may result in an aborted delivery and you may be liable for an additional delivery charge. Other options for delivery such as position and fix will be subject to additional charges that can be seen on the website. Further options such as delivery to floors via stairs or a Saturday delivery can be quoted for on request. Please note that for some deliveries a site survey may be required.

We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed and therefore time is not of the essence. In any event, we will aim to deliver your goods within 30 days from the day after the day we received your order. If delivery is delayed beyond this time, we will contact you and either agree a mutually acceptable alternative date, or offer you a full refund.

We must be advised within 24 hours of any damage or missing items all deliveries must be opened and checked upon arrival. We are unable to process any claims after this period has elapsed. To comply with our courier’s regulations all packaging must be kept and the item must not be moved to a different address. Failure to comply with the aforementioned will invalidate a damage claim. You may be required to provide digital images to allow us to claim. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Due to the size and weight of some of the products we supply various items may be dispatched directly from the manufacturer.  Magpie Security Services Ltd will provide the manufacturer with your shipping and contact details to allow delivery. Our manufacturers do not retain share, store or use personal information for any other purposes.

Installation
Magpie Security Services Ltd offers a safe installation service whereby we arrange work to be carried out by an appropriately qualified installer and will not be held  responsible for any loss, damage or  expenses incurred during, or as a result of, the  product installation.
In all cases it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that floor loading restrictions are adhered to. Magpie Security Services Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss  or damage as a result of floor loading limits being exceeded as a result of the  installation of any of its products.
If you choose to use our installation service you must ensure delivery route and  installation location are free from obstructions, allowing easy access for our  engineer. If a wall installation is required you must remove skirting boards and any  other obstructions prior to installation. Failure to carry out these instructions may  result in an aborted installation.
In the event of an aborted delivery of your items additional charges will apply and  must be paid before delivery is attempted again. The additional delivery charges will  be advised to you in the event that this occurs.
